Transforming by doing

The 2021 edition of the International Biennale on Education, Occupational Training and Practices was held on September 22/23/24/25th, 2021 at Catholic Institute of Paris (ICP). In this context, CCCA-BTP intervened for two communications and animated a symposium as well as two workshops, among which the workshop animated by Marek Lawinski on the topic “Transforming by doing”.

The intervention of Marek Lawinski, head of International Cooperation Unit at CCCA-BTP, during the 2021 International Biennale on Education, Occupational Training and Practices on the topic “Transforming by doing”, was translated into an article of Education Permanente magazine, international reference on adult training.

The workshop was designed as a contribution, based on CCCA-BTP’s experiences, to a better understanding of Erasmus+ projects’ groups ways of functioning, as communities of production and learning (ClĂ©net, J., 2020). 3 European projects, implemented between 2014 and 2021, were chosen as they have in common the design and implementation of professionalisation paths for trainers and teachers in technical areas (Certivet) as well as as for site managers and team leaders (ConstructyVET and RenovUp). For each one of these Erasmus+ projects, the implementation phase is long enough (between 2 and 3 years) to observe the production processes of common results and the evolution of occupational skills activated by partners in this context.
